Long life hot cast Urethane mallets, we feature two series - solid cast (with urethane head and handle) and fiberglass handled. Both types provide non-marring blows and minimized rebound.
With reverse-wedge hickory handles. The "61" series of hammers all have a hardness of around 90 Shore A*. Also available are softer black rubber mallets, Shore 75A. Need something softer? consider the TPC solid head urethane mallet, Shore 55A (below).

*Durometer hardness is used to determine the relative hardness of plastic and rubber. The "A" scale is typically for rubbers. Shore 90A is durable, long lasting with less bounce, a harder rubber. Shore 75A (similar to a hard skateboard wheel) is slightly softer. Softer yet is the solid Urethane mallet, Shore 55A (slightly harder than an eraser).
